AED at Hadlow – Update

The new AED machine at Hadlow is now fully installed onto the The Gate House in its new heated and secure storage unit. We’ve registered our AED with NorthWest Ambulance Service so in the event of a serious incident on site the unit access codes will be provided and also all our site users will be provided with this access code.

The purchase and installation of our AED has been supported by the kind donations of FMC Chemical Ltd, the Masonic Lodge in central Liverpool and individual leaders.  In addition profits from our own Girlguiding Wirral Guide Shop at Hadlow Field were used to purchase the secure storage unit so a big thank you to everyone who supported this lifesaving project for Hadlow Fields.

Following the success of our ‘Restart A Heart’ training evenings in October our county 1st Response trainers will be offering more sessions in the New Year on how to use an AED machine and perform CPR. More details about available courses will be appearing on the County Calendar in the coming weeks.
