A big thank you goes to the girls and leaders staying in the Cottage over the first weekend in April who showed that ‘girls can’ when they helped to finish the new wood pile by the flag pole and cleaned all the campsite fridges for the start of the camping season. Then after lunch got stuck into planting a new hedge and trees on Squirrel campsite, clearing the brambles on Cedar campsite, tiding up the campfire areas and finally brushing the drive!
Some of the girls were staying at Hadlow Fields as part of their BP Adventure and others were there to complete their environment or community services clauses of challenge badges. A big thank you to everyone including Sharon, Karen and Noreen the leaders for the weekend.
