A big thank you to the volunteers from Birkenhead and Deeside Divisions who turned out over two weekends for working party at Hadlow.
The list of jobs for February working party was long but Birkenhead Division rose to challenge. The skip was quickly filled, the car park cleared, flags delivered to each campsite shelter for new hardstanding areas and mole hill shelter emptied out.
Despite a chilly start to the day Deeside Division made light work of restocking our main site woodpile; clearing an over grown area by the flag pole and cleaning the Ice House fridges/freezer for the camping season. The returning Birkenhead Division volunteers continued to re-gravel sections of the car park and helped to fell a diseased tree in Orchard.
All helped along by copicous hot drinks and biscuits with sausage butties and soup for lunch.
